REVIEWS & ENDORSEMENTS
This clarity and simplicity is one of the great strengths of this directly written book, drawing both on his own experience and his wide knowledge of many different disciplines. There is no elaborate footnote analysis or bibliography, although some books are referred to in the text. The first part describes the nature of intelligence and its importance, the second is a practical guide on improving various aspects of intelligence, while the third explores the relationship between intelligence, knowing and belief, as well as including two chapters on intelligence in action.
I agree with Phil Hanlon when he writes in the foreword that Chris’s book is a good antidote to the dis-eases of modernity with its practical, instructive and down to earth approach.
~ David Lorimer, Paradigm Explorer
Chris Thomson's book is important and timely and challenging. Chris has the rare ability to speak simply and directly about deep and complex issues. I found the book spoke directly to me about many aspects of my life.
My own academic work over the past six years has taken me to many groups and individuals who are grappling with what we have called the 'dis-eases of modernity' - this book is exactly what many of them need. ~ Prof Phil Hanlon, Glasgow University
I am happy that Chris Thomson has put into words his thoughts and knowledge of the value of intelligence. It is great that he offers the reader ways to explore and develop, and how to become more awake and more fully human. I am totally in agreement with his propositions, and I like the fact that there is no gobbledygook. It is all understandable, life-enhancing, and inspiring. ~ Lindy Henny, Psychotherapist and Actor
